December 7 Public Meeting Reminder

East Ocean View Civic League Members,

Our December meeting will be held on Thursday, December 7th at 7:00 at the East Ocean View Community Center located at 9520 20th Bay Street. Our guest speaker will be Ward 5 Norfolk City Councilman Tommy Smigiel. We encourage members to submit questions for Councilman Smigiel at this link. We will also hold elections for the 2024 EOVCL Officers and Board of Directors, vote on our 2024 budget, discuss a Conditional Use Permit request to operate a Short Term Rental at 9563 20th Bay St., and present some changes to the By-Laws that will be voted on in January. A copy of the draft agenda and proposed By-Law changes are attached. Due to a previously scheduled work commitment I will be unable to attend the meeting so our Vice President, Christie Hall, will run the December meeting.
