Winning Ocean View License Plate Design

From Office of Delegate Phil Hernandez

Hello Civic Leagues of HD-94 and Ocean View!

Over the last several months, Delegate Hernandez has been working with Ocean View community members to create a specialty license plate that celebrates Ocean View. We held an art design drive, in which more than 150 design ideas were submitted by folks who love OV. A selection committee was created, and that committee selected a winning design. The winning artist is a lifelong OV resident, and director of the Ocean View Station Museum in Mary D. Pretlow, Larry Estes! You can see news articles here and here, including the winning design.

Now, we are asking everyone who loves OV to sign up for the plate, and we would greatly appreciate your help in that effort! Would you please share this community-driven effort with your neighborhood communities? We need 450 pre-paid applications before the end of the year in order to get this plate made. Anyone who wants this plate canfill out this form, and I will provide the application to them. We have over 300 people already signed up, and you all can help us reach our goal. For your convenience, I've attached the winning design to this email, so you can share it along with the google form link with your neighbors and invite them to sign up for the plate.
