East Ocean View Civic League Members, Our November meeting will be held on Thursday, November 2th at 7:00 at the East Ocean View Community Center located at 9520 20th Bay Street. Our guest speakers will be Phil Hernandez, candidate for the 94th district in the Virginia House of Delegates, and Garry Merryman from the Norfolk Submarine Memorial Committee. We will also present a slate of candidates for 2024 Officer and Board of Director positions. If you are interested in running for a position you may self-nominate from the floor or have another person nominate you as long as you are present to accept. Elections will be held at the December meeting. The 2024 EOVCL budget will be presented this month as well with approval at the December meeting. Additional agenda items are listed in the attached draft agenda. I will be out of town so our Vice-President, Christie Hall, will run the November meeting.
