George Lamb

A Bit About George

George Lamb has called Hampton Roads home since the Navy brought him, his wife Ellen, and their infant son Alexander here in 1998. A couple of years later, just days before 9/11, their daughter Rhys was born, completing their family.

In June 2020, George and his family moved to East Ocean View, where he quickly became a dedicated community leader. He currently serves as Secretary of the East Ocean View Civic League, working to improve communication, address neighborhood concerns, and strengthen the community.

George is a proud retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer who served his country honorably for over 22 years. Since retiring in 2016, he has continued serving the nation in various contractor positions at various locations supporting both the Air Force and Navy. He is currently serving the Navy with Booz Allen Hamilton.

When he’s not busy with Civic League responsibilities, George enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs (Go Dawgs!), hanging out with friends, staying active, and laughing often. He remains deeply committed to making East Ocean View an even better place to live.
