Visual Conversations: Community Resilience over Violence

We are so pleased to announce the next workshop in the Visual Conversations: Community Resilience over Violence series at Slover Library in Norfolk, Va.

This project is intended for individuals who have been directly or indirectly impacted by community violence and anyone who is interested in learning about the following topics:

Week 1: Community Violence

Week 2: Trauma Informed Care

Week 3: Mentoring Youth

Week 4: Fostering Resilience

A community expert on each topic will present to participants and art making and open discussion will be facilitated by an art therapist. Registration is required and the link, along with other event details, are included in the flyer.
