As a reminder, tonight is the first open-house style NFK2050 meeting meeting. If you are unable to attend but are interested in learning more about this city planning project, below are the upcoming opportunities for the next few weeks.

Monday, Dec. 4, 4 – 7 p.m., Norview Community Center (6380 Sewells Point Rd.)
Wednesday, Dec. 6, 4 – 7 p.m., Richard A. Tucker Memorial Library (2350 Berkley Ave.)
Thursday, Dec. 7, 4 – 7 p.m., Lamberts Point Community Center (1251 W. 42nd St.)
Monday, Dec. 11, 4 – 7 p.m., Fairlawn Recreation Center (1014 Kempsville Rd.)
The open houses will have the following activities:
An info station introducing NFK2050, the project timeline and scope, and ways to stay engaged;
A large-scale interactive map of the city where residents can tell us where they live, a place that they love, and a place with some challenges, as well as ideas for making their neighborhoods better;
A vision station where participants could voice their aspirations for Norfolk by the year 2050; and
A handful of topic stations where participants can discuss what challenges and opportunities the city will face around these topics.
